I also find rheumatology to be an exciting field with breakthroughs and new treatments yearly. It is never boring. The science behind it – immunology and cell biology – is so intricate that I am always learning something new.

“I think it’s important to listen to patients, to formulate treatment plans together and to educate, empathize with and empower patients to take control of their own health. My goal is to help patients regain their lives.”
