Josephine (“Josie”) is a certified Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in integrative and evidence-based medicine. She is dedicated to improving the lives of her patients through compassionate and personalized care. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota where she majored in Nutritional Sciences and minored in Leadership. She began her passion for healthcare early as she completed over 1,500 clinical hours before pursuing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University.

Her background is rooted in both science and whole-person wellness. Josie also has a special interest in integrative approaches to pain management. Her training in nutrition and holistic care shapes her patient-centered philosophy. She’s also committed to enhancing her patients' lives by creating personalized, collaborative treatment plans. She believes that lasting pain relief comes from a multidisciplinary comprehensive approach.

Alongside her clinical work, Josie has a strong background in leadership and community service. She taught undergraduate leadership courses, served as a Senior Research Assistant at Hennepin County Medical Center, and held several leadership roles which include being the Vice President of her PA class and founder of a professional women’s organization. She’s also been a dedicated Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer for over ten years.

Outside the clinic, Josie loves going waterskiing with her family, hiking through national and state parks with her husband, playing with her dog West at the beach, running along the lakefront, and exploring new restaurants and breweries.
